“Be the Boss” Field Trip
A Unique Educational Experience for Groups of 15-50
90-Minute Field Trip includes Lunch & Dessert
We’ll teach your students how to “mind their own business” with a behind the scenes tour of Nirvana Café & Grille. This hands-on learning experience introduces students to how a restaurant operates as a business. Additionally, through educational business games and activities, several lessons are taught on youth entrepreneurship & personal achievement including:
• How to start a “micro” business.

How to become the C-E-O of Y-O-U.
• How to make a great impression, every time.
• How to become a first-class leader.
• How to work together as a team.
Creativity comes to life in the Empowerment Kitchen! Every student becomes a junior chef and makes his or her own pizza and homemade ice cream. Once prepared, everyone sits and enjoys their original creations for a truly memorable business lunch experience.
“Be the Boss” Field Trip is offered Monday-Friday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Some additional days and hours are available upon special request. The total experience costs $12 per student and includes the behind the scenes restaurant tour, hands-on business lessons, unique pizza & ice cream making, drinks and tips for the servers.
